Munch and Move
Munch and Move
Munch & Move is NSW Health initiative that supports the healthy development of children birth to 5 years by promoting physical activity, healthy eating and reduced small screen time (e.g. watching TV or DVDs, playing on computers and small hand-held games devices).
Children spend a substantial amount of time in early childhood settings , therefore our centre provides the ideal setting to increase awareness of appropriate physical activity and healthy eating habits. We are committed in providing the Early childhood foundations for children to develop and practice healthy eating and physical activity habits.
This includes learning a range of fundamental movement skills that will help children take part in and enjoy physical activity throughout their lives.
Establishing sound eating and activity habits from an early age gives children the best chance of leading a healthy life and maintaining a healthy weight. Munch & Move supports the NSW Government’s priority of preventing childhood overweight and obesity.
